Denise Exstrom Larsen, PT is a 1984 graduate of Mayo Clinic’s physical therapy program. Her undergraduate coursework was completed at Doane College where she competed in collegiate volleyball and track. Denise’s childhood was spent growing up and working on her family’s farm near Holdrege, Nebraska. She has lived and worked in Lincoln since becoming a physical therapist.

Known for her expertise in shoulder rehabilitation for all ages and activity levels, Denise also excels in orthopedic care, pediatrics and geriatrics. She is a certified provider of Functional Dry Needling for upper extremity and neck.

Denise donates her time to educate participants of the Nebraska downhill ski club, Lincoln Marathon Clinic and soccer/volleyball clinics on principals of injury prevention. She also participates with many local high-schools, colleges and professional schools to share information about opportunities to pursue physical therapy as a profession.

Outside of work Denise enjoys traveling, golfing, scuba diving and attending local sporting events with her husband, Doug.
